Statement of interest:
I'm working with Scheme for about 10 years, and I like it because it can
do so much with so little effort. I didn't
agree with the R6RS standard, because it sacrificed Scheme's platonic
nature. R7RS now corrects this, in providing some much needed extensions
like records and exceptions (but only those) without trying to do everything for
everybody.
